Make or Skip · Digital Product Opportunity Finder

Privacy

Last updated 20 October 2026. This page covers the Make or Skip website, the waitlist and your account on the dashboard (dash.makeorskip.com).

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
• If you choose to tell us: the kinds of products you make and where you sell.
• The country your visit came from, and the site or campaign that sent you, if any.
• A one-way hash of your IP address, used only to block spam sign-ups. We never store the IP address itself.
• A referral code, so we can see which shared links bring people in.

If you sign in to the dashboard, we also keep:

• Your account: your email address and when you signed in.
• One cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the dashboard to work and is never used for tracking or advertising. Sign-in links and sessions are stored only as one-way hashes.
• What you tell us you make and where you sell.
• If you buy a membership: what Gumroad tells us about it (tier, start date, and whether it is active, cancelled, refunded or ended) and your license key, stored encrypted. Gumroad handles the payment; we never see your card details.

What we use it for

To email you when Make or Skip opens, to offer founding prices, to sign you in and give you the plan you paid for, and to decide which product types and platforms to cover first. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t add you to anyone else’s list.

Where it is stored

The site and dashboard run on Vercel, and the waitlist and accounts are stored in a Postgres database run by Neon. Payments run through Gumroad. Sign-in emails are sent from hello@makeorskip.com through Hostinger. Visit statistics use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is closed and you have not become a member.

Your choices

Email hello@makeorskip.com from the address you signed up with to see, correct or delete your data, or to leave the waitlist. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
